About Hassett Financial Partners
On September 10th, 2001 Chris Hassett would tell you he was your “typical financial advisor”. After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1993- he immediately started working with small business owners, entrepreneurs, retirees and corporate executives in helping them achieve their goals and objectives in retirement and estate planning. He felt very satisfied about the work he was doing and had established close relationships with his clients.
He was living the American dream having a successful career and having an even more rewarding family life- being a husband and father of three. While having no time for any real hobbies, he would often find himself reading books related to the military or space exploration- most likely the by-product of being the son of a Recon Marine and growing up during the ‘Star Wars’ era.
Needless to say that all changed the next day. After 9/11 he felt something pulling him towards the aerospace and defense fields. He started going to community luncheons where the keynote speaker would be discussing national security or space exploration issues. He started volunteering with organizations that were committed to the same ideas he firmly believed in- the first being Space Journey. He then joined and became active in the National Defense Industry Association and also became active in other well-respected associations within the aerospace and defense community.
Inevitably, Chris found himself working almost solely with those in the aerospace and defense community. He discovered that people in these industries had unique concerns, needs and ambitions.
Chris decided that he wanted to make it his goal to serve these people – those who were making a difference to improve his country’s national defense as well as pushing the envelope to further space exploration. Consequently, he pushes himself hard to stay current on the most pressing issues for those in the aerospace and defense industry so he can be an expert resource and exclusively “Serve Warriors and Explorers”.
